We are a mom and daughter team who feel that 50 stars and 13 stripes adorn the most beautiful flag in the world.  Our father/grandfather served in the Navy during WWII, so patriotism, respect for the American flag and knowledge of the battles that have been fought for our freedoms run very deep in our hearts. Because of this, the name 5013 Coffee seemed very appropriate for our coffee shop business. 

In 2020 we opened a coffee shop in our hometown in Oregon, but soon mandates and difficulties of running a business during a pandemic took its toll and we decided to sell the business in 2021.

With the experience of managing a coffee shop under our belts, and knowing we wanted to continue running a business together, we started talking about where the perfect location would be for our next endeavor. Brierre (daughter) moved to Rockwall, Texas in 2022, to experience new scenery (and warmer weather) and felt it was the spot to take our vision of good coffee and baked goods from concept to a shop everyone dreams about - a place to relax and socialize, a shopping space for gifts/home decor, and friendly hospitality — all together in one warm and cozy atmosphere. 

Holly (mom), who resides in Oregon, made the trip to Rockwall to work with Brierre in finding the perfect location. Through our realtor we had the opportunity to make a beautiful new space in Heath, Texas, the first location of 5013 Coffee.  

Our mission is to not only to offer warm hospitality, serve delicious coffee, pastries and small eats, but to incorporate a patriotic ambiance to show our love of old, faded American flags and primitive decor pieces that bear our heritage. We proudly and lovingly display a photo of our father/grandfather while he was stationed in the South Pacific during WWII so we will never forget the sacrifices made to allow us to be right where we are, right now.
